Chicopee Industrial Contractors, Inc., also known as CIC, is an established industrial contracting firm founded on 30 plus years in the industry.

Our labor force offers more than 40 years of experience working as the Rigging Contractor with local and national corporations such as: American Saw Corporation, Spalding Sports Worldwide, Smith & Wesson, Danaher Tool Corporation, Jen-Coat, Judd Wire, Inc., Leoni, Webco Engineering and Eureka Blank Book. CIC crews arrive at the job site, self contained, with our own gang box of tools and equipment to complete the job in the safest, most cost effective manner. CIC crews are trained, cross trained, and safety trained including required attendance at in-house safety programs on topics of general safety issues, equipment use, tool use, fork truck safety and operation & health issues, in addition to training on customer satisfaction, service excellence and communication. In addition, many employees are trained in Confined Space, HazMat issues and First Aid/CPR.

Our up to date facilities, located in Chicopee at the crossroads of Central Massaachusetts, house our fleet of equipment that includes our Tri-lift 150 with the versatility of providing three modes of lifting heavy loads. It can function as a gantry, lifting 100-tons on top of its boom. The boom telescopes up to 12 feet, and functioning as a crane, is capable of lifting and tilting 75-tons. The Tri Lifter, operating as a forklift, has a 50-ton load capacity. Its compactness enables the lift to pass under a 10-foot door, turn on an 18-foot radius, and possesses the mobility to move with its load. Ten plus lift trucks rated at 2,000# up to 30,000# capacity, electric, diesel and propane powered, gantry systems, scizzorlifts, hydraulic dollies, hydraulic jacks, chain falls, ½ ton – 10 ton, skates, concrete floor saw, mig, tig & stick welders, compactors, steam/pressure washer plus numerous power tools & hand tools required to do the job in the most efficient manner. Our truck fleet includes air-ride, step-deck trailers with beaver tail ramps, providing the ability to load and offload at any location, with and without dock access box trailer and flat bed trucks.

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce our company, Chicopee Industrial Contractors, Inc. CIC, as we are commonly referred, opened its doors for business in 1992. Our Vision was to create a company and an environment in which customer service and quality of service are first and foremost. To provide a safe working environment through a stringent training program based on the concept of teamwork and continuous improvement. Our Goal is to exceed our customer's expectations. In a challenging business environment some 18 years later, we have recommitted ourselves to the core values that have served as our platform for success. Currently, CIC serves over 300 customers a year, enjoys a customer base of over 1500 and as an accolade to our success, 75% of our projects are with repeat customers.
